Dino Melaye, the spokesperson and Director of Public Affairs for the Presidential Campaign Management Committee of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has reiterated that the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is not afraid of being investigated in light of the alleged money laundering.
Melaye made this claim during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday
Melaye said Atiku is still the most investigated Nigerian because he has always been investigated multiple times in the country.

He stated, “Atiku Abubakar is a Nigerian and a democrat. He has consistently been accessible for inquiries. He has undergone numerous investigations, all of which have produced clean results.
“Therefore, you do not require Atiku’s permission to investigate him. We are not afraid of an investigation because he is the most investigated Nigerian and will come out clean if you do another one,” he continued.
However, the spokesperson for the PDP insisted that the individual who is anticipated to be investigated and prosecuted is Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a certified court indictment, he is the one who has already been charged with a crime. He is the man who has previously encountered the Code of Conduct,” he stated.
