Apex Igbo Socio-Cultural organization Ohaneze Ndigbo has reacted to a viral post making the rounds on social media. The post purportedly linking it to the Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign was made by Legit.ng an online news platform.
The leadership of the body through its official Twitter handle Ohanezendigboworldwide @ohanezendigboo issued a statement warning the public to disregard any impostor parading himself as the President-General of the body.
The organization in its rebuttal noted that it has only one recognized leadership which has Prof. George Obiozor as its President-General.
The post has since elicited reactions and comments from across the world.
Lending his voice to the disclaimer, publisher and CEO of Lekki Times Mazi Ugo Mgbemene responding through his Twitter handle Ugoxris @Mgbemene tweeted ‘Thank you @ohanezendigboo for your eternal vigilance in picking up this and many other intelligence you are doing for Ana Igbo’
Atiku Abubakar is the PDP Presidential flagbearer.
