It was a day of deep spiritual exercise and reflections as members of the order of Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM), Nigeria Region 5 of Lagos Metropolitan Council which comprises of 4 subordinate councils viz: Lekki, Ajah, VGC and Ibeju Lekki celebrated their Patron Saint Day.
The celebration was marked with a Retreat on Saturday 4th June, 2022 at the SS Phillips and James Catholic Church Idado Lekki. Following the Retreat on Sunday 5th June, 2022 was a thanksgiving mass for a successful Retreat in honor of their Patron and the admission of their brothers and sisters newly admitted into the Order.
In his Retreat talk, Rev. Fr. Evaristus Abu of the Archdiocese of Benin who conducted the Retreat spoke widely about the life of Saint Mulumba underlining his courage, faith and fearlessness in defense of the church …attributes for which he was known.

The events which were coordinated by the VGC Sub-Council led by their Worthy Grand Knight (WGK), Sir Ferdinand Odoemenem were well attended by Knights, their ladies and members of the Youths of St. Mulumba.
