The Secretary of Olumoye in Oniwolu Royal Family, Prince Ibrahim Olawale, has said that Oba of Ibeju Lekki must come from Olumoye in Oniwolu
In a letter addressed to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu the secretary urged the Governor to ignore pieces of information making the rounds that the Oyemade, Oniwolu Royal Family of Ibeju Lekki, has presented an oba-elect for a confirmation.

He urged the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs to as a matter of urgency investigate the matter.
Prince Ibrahim Olawale wondered why a faction of the royal family who had presented kings for several times would claimed to have submitted an oba-elect for the vacant stool without considering other families.
He said the case is pending at the Lagos High Court to address the injustice because it is the turn of Olumoye in Oniwolu Royal Family to present next Onibeju of Ibeji Lekki.
