Nigerias president Muhammadu Buhari has extended his condolences to victims of the BRT and Train accident which happened in Lagos on Thursday.
Buhari Stated this on his official Tweeter handle on Thursday. He described the accident as distressing and extremely saddening.
“The accident at the level crossing involving a train and BRT staff bus is distressing and extremely sad.
” I pray for the souls of the deceased and quick recovery of the injured.” He said.
He also commended the prompt response of Lagos State authorities and the Nigerian government agencies for coming to the rescue of the victims.
