Police Invites Lagos Bizman Over Nude Circulation, Probe Cop For Seeking Bribe

Amarah Kennedy, a Lagos-based businessman, has been invited by The Lagos State Police Command for questioning over the circulation of nude photos of his ex-lovers.

Report has it that Kennedy has continued to circulate the nude photos of two single mothers whom he previously had relationships with.

It was learnt that the photos was sent to the WhatsApp platform of the church of one of the women identified simply as Kester.

He also sent the photos to her late husband’s family members and office.

Kennedy Stated “By the time I am done, suicide will be her only option.” On Tuesday, he sent the nude photos to at least 48 people.

In a series of tweets by Benjamin Hundeyin on Wednesday, asked Kennedy to submit himself to police for questioning.

He also stated that officer accused of demanding bribe in the case has at Pen Cinema has been handed over to the Provost for investigation and orderly room trial.

Hundeyin said, “The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, yesterday Tuesday, July 4, 2023 met with the survivor of this ugly incident in his office.

“The CP, while assuring the survivor of justice, has directed the Police Medical Services, Lagos State Command to provide her with adequate psychosocial support.

“The suspect, Amarah Kennedy, is advised to submit himself to prove his innocence as failure to do so will result in deploying all law enforcement machinery available to secure his apprehension and prosecution accordingly.

However, the officer, Inspector Raphael Edeifo, accused of demanding money to take up the case at Pen Cinema has been handed over to the Provost for investigation and orderly room trial, if found culpable.

“CP Owohunwa has given firm assurances that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure that the long arm of the law catches up with the suspect.”

Kester confirmed that her in-laws and pastor had called to show solidarity with her.
