Lekki traffic gridlock: LASMT organizes a one-day stakeholders’ engagement

In view of the current traffic gridlock around the Free Trade Zone caused by influx of vehicular activities and the quest to achieve effective management of traffic around this axis, Ibeju-Lekki, other Local Governments and Local Council Development Area Chairmen in Epe Division in conjunction with the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation (LASMT) organized a one day stakeholders’ engagement to present the Lagos State plan in abatting the incessant gridlock as well as seek stakeholders’ input for effective Traffic Management across the Lekki Free zone.

The one day parley which held yesterday Tuesday,18th April, 2023 had in attendance the Director of Transport, Engr. Ojoowuro Olasunkanmi of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, The 5 Chairmen of Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas in Epe Division, Representatives of Dangote Refinery, LFZDC, LFZ, Pinnacle Oil, NUPENG, FRSC, NPF, DSS and other stakeholders
